Festival Passes to the IFF (Interdisciplinary Fringe Festival), on sale now
The first edition of the Interdisciplinary Fringe Festival
September 14, 2011 – October 7, 2011, Wroclaw
Festival passes for IFF Wroclaw, organized by the Impart Art Centre, have gone on sale. They are available for the ten main events in Impart and valid for discounts on shows and concerts like Teatr Wierszalin – “A Treatise of Mannequins”, Teatr Konsekwentny “Portnoy’s Complaint”, the rock musical “Leningrad” and Teatr Montownia.
Passes for ten events are 50 PLN each. Single tickets for each event start at 10 PLN.
IFF – Interdisciplinary Fringe Festival is the first festival of this kind in Poland – modeled on the International Edinburgh Fringe. Between September 14th and October 7th we review five areas of art: theatre, contemporary dance, visual art, music and film. Exhibitions, shows and concerts will take place in several places in Wroclaw. The main stage and festival club will be located in the Impart Art Centre
This Interdisciplinary Fringe Festival (IFF) in Wroclaw is based on the structure of the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. We hope this idea, which proved itself to be successful at similar events around the world, from Australia and New Zealand to Canada, the United States (New York) and Europe (Dublin, Barcelona) will also work in Wroclaw. Especially when you consider that Wroclaw is the “meeting place” . Here, just like in Edinburgh, we have many interesting places suitable for the presentation of various art forms. That is why we invite anyone interested to come and perform in Wroclaw.
To all participants CS Impart offers promotion of the event through festival’s program, a festival website, other media and promotion on social networking sites. Festival co-ordinators will help participants of the event prepare samples for additional promotion. We therefore suggest that groups also have their own leaflets, posters and other relevant promotional material. All festival members will have free access to the festival club, Autograph, at CS Impart.
There is a registration form on our site in which participants indicate their date of arrival, number of nights in Wroclaw (the need for accommodation should be reported to us) and information about the group and performance that will be presented.
We will not cover travel or accommodation costs, however we have negotiated special discount prices with many hotels in Wroclaw for participant of the festival. Participants will not receive a fee for the performance. Instead a cut will be awarded from the profits of ticket sales.
Participants are to choose from a list of locations available to them in which they feel their performance would be most suitable in. Location spaces are given on a first come first served basis.
